Elliot LaPlante is a Los Angeles based Production Designer and Creative Consultant.  She specializes in visual story telling and impact media.  She's had the opportunity to design for film, television and theater and has worked on projects for NBC Universal, Time Warner, Rabbit Bandini and The Spirit Awards.

 

She is currently working on NBC's new show St. Denis Medical, after completing two seasons of American Auto and six years on NBC's long running comedy Superstore, starring America Ferrera.  Elliot designed short film Yours Sincerely Lois Weber, which premiered in the Festival de Cannes and the feature film Show Me What You Got, a film by Svetlana Cvetko.

 

In addition to her design work, Elliot worked with The Actors’ Gang Prison Project, a rehabilitative theatre program focused on providing emotional tools to incarcerated individuals.  She also serves as a board member for Camp Rocky Road; a camp to inspire, challenge, and celebrate young women, created by fashion designer Ripley Rader.  Her non-profit work blends her love of art and aesthetic with her passion for social change and advocacy.
